Competitor Regulations
Upon close of registrations, participants will be provided
with their performance time during the Mandurah's Got Talent! hours.

NB We ask that all performers please allow for plenty of time for parking.

Please contact patricia@curate.org.au if you possess questions with regard to your registration.

Participant/Competitor Set-Up Time
Each participant is provided with approximately 2 minutes of buffer time in between acts.
Participants will be allowed to break down and setup during this time period.

If this is not enough time, please do not rush!
We do not want anything to happen to you, your instrument or your gear,
so if you need extra time, please take it.
The adjudicators will also be marking the rubrics and discussing their decisions during this time period as well; thus, we will not be able to begin the next act until they have completed marking the previous performance.
This process can take longer than the allotted 2 minutes of buffer time.

If you require assistance for your performance (i.e. another person will be operating your Bluetooth speaker),
they are allowed to come up during the performance and remain on the side of the stage, if required,
in order to operate your tech.
We want you to have the best performance experience possible!

Waiting for Your Performance Time
Mandurah's Got Talent! will operate like a traditional Eisteddfod.
Participants will sit in the audience and watch the other performances
prior to and after their allocated performance time.

If you would like to sit on your own, please feel free to do so.
Similarly, if you would like to sit with your family and friends, please feel free to do so.
Participants will be called up for their performance by name when it is their turn.
NB Whilst we have done everything in our power to ensure the running time and time slots of each
performer, we do ask for your understanding if this slightly changes due to extenuating circumstances
(i.e. additional setup time required by a participant).
Entering and Exiting the Hall during the Performances
You and your guests are permitted to enter and exit the hall as required.
We do ask that you keep an eye on the time with regards to your own timeslot
so that you are in the hall when it is your turn to perform.
We also ask that you only enter and exit in between performances and not during a performance.
This is to ensure each performer has the best possible experience.
Tickets & Wristbands
Upon checking in at the Registration Table, you will be provided with wristbands so that you can
enter and exit the hall freely. Please keep them on until the end of the event so that the VAs know you have checked in and are a part of the event. Entry to the Hall will not be permitted without the wristband.
Please ensure everyone who is attending has purchased a ticket so that they can be issued a wristband.
We highly suggest purchasing all of your audience tickets ahead of the day to avoid disappointment.
Our competitions have a tendency to sell out, and we do not wish to turn friends and family members away.
If you do have additional guests on the day, a QR code will be available to purchase additional audience tickets
on the spot and receive the extra wristbands, if available.
Participants who have paid their registration fee do not need to purchase any additional tickets.
Please note that the participant fee only covers the participant themselves.

Collaborative Pianists/Accompanists & Backing Tracks

Each participant is responsible for organising their own collaborative pianist/accompanist
as well as their own backing track with Bluetooth speaker/device.
